Since a while I have been collecting corks, every time a bottle of wine or champagne is finished, I add the corks to a big vase. So now as Christmas is coming is the perfect time to use some of those corks!
This time I will create some Christmas reindeer, they are super easy and fast, here are the instructions.
Materials:
Red small pom poms
Small eyes
Small wooden sticks
Corks
Brown pipe cleaners
Glue
Scissors
Directions:
Complete reindeer:
1. Cut 4 small wooden sticks into halves.
2. Use the halves to create the feet by inserting them into a cork.
3. Use another half wooden stick to insert it into the top of the cork to create the neck of the reindeer.
4. Add a second cork into the other extreme of the neck to simulate the head of the reindeer.
5. Cute the pipe cleaners into piece of around 7 cm and 5 cm. Place the 5cm piece on top of the 7cm piece as seen on the picture below.
6. Twist the 5 cm pipe into the 5 cm pipe and add it to the head of the reindeer.
7. Finally paste the eyes and the nose on the cork and you are finished.
Reindeer Head:
Take a champagne cork, which is bigger and has the top wider than the bottom,as seen below
2.Cute the pipe cleaners into piece of around 7 cm and 5 cm. Place the 5cm piece on top of the 7cm piece as seen on the picture below.
3. Twist the 5 cm pipe into the 5 cm pipe and add it to the head of the reindeer.
4. Finally paste the eyes and the nose on the cork and you are finished.
Here is the result of both types of rendeer, which one you prefer?
